Two of the very famous things about Bandra is the fort and the Chimbai Village. The Fort also known as Castella de Aguada was built by the Portuguese as a watch tower in 1640. The remains of the fort still echo with the stories of the pre independence era. Similarly the Chimbai village houses one of the oldest inhabitants of Mumbai and also has some of the most amazing examples of graffiti work.
Explore the South Mumbai district of Fort. This area abodes everything from international banks to street food vendors to The RBI (The Reserve Bank of India) head quarters, The Mint & the Bombay Stock Exchange. This walk starts at the Rajabai Tower, and then we move on to The Bombay High Court next to it. We then head for the Flora Fountain and get a little low down of many International Banks in the vicinity. We just cut across the street to see all the neatly lined shops along the street selling used books.
Any kind of personal expenses, shopping, food etc.
