India is a diverse country and Indians take pride is ‘unity in diversity’. A land of multilingual, multicultural & heterogenous population – we do not seize to charm any traveller who sets their foot here. With 28 states, 8 union territories, multiple languages, religions, and culture, we surely can overwhelm anyone. One of the prime attractions to globetrotters, world leaders, celebrities, and all kinds of travellers – India is the home to spirituality. And with that comes colourful celebrations and festivities. Festivals are a great way to bring people together in an engaging and interactive way. The Festivals in modern times are not restricted to spiritual or religious acts but are a medium to celebrate diverse themes. Themes that celebrate cultural diversity and both tangible-intangible heritage. Introducing an array of Festivals celebrating different facets of heritage and the geographical expanse of our country we have – Delhi Walks Festival, City Walks Festival, Heritage Walks Festival®, India City Walks Festival, and the Heritage Fiesta®.

The Delhi Walks Festival celebrates the cultural traditions of Delhi, complementing its ancient-medieval architectural marvels, the hidden gems, its green belt, and myriads of stories. Similarly, celebrating our different states, union territories and neighbourhood is the City Walks Festival which has been successfully run-in different states celebrating the ‘local’. Our Heritage Walks Festival® and Heritage Fiesta® are curated in a way that celebrates different aspects of heritage which no-one probably ever thought about. One of our benchmark cultural heritage celebrations within the genre of tourism is the India City Walks Festival®, which has seen successful past events as a medium to domestic tourism revival during the tough times of the impact of a pandemic.

We are an organisation with set of standards and values and pay particular attention to the unique needs and aspirations of the communities that host our operations. With the different and diverse forms of Festivals, we are introducing new strategic directions for India tourism and enhance ways of working to support and strengthen India’s diversity of attractions through uncertain times and will respond flexibly to changes and opportunities as they arise.
