Lucknow is not just about food & heritage, but one of the best things is the colourful markets. Clothings, decorative, shoes, bags, jewelleries and what not, the city of Lucknow has it all. Even though with the advent of modern marts and shopping malls, the public has inclined more towards newer options but the bazaars of Lucknow still hold on to their charms.
We take you on the walk of the bustling bazaars that are so very exciting to understand and to shop at. Swadeshi Market that so very religiously stopped selling foreign goods when Mahatma Gandhi gave a call to shun foreign goods. Also Garbarjhaala, known for its highest bargaining shops, where one can get the prices reduced to 200% at times, if only one has the skills to bargain. Shopping in Lucknow is fun as it is an entirely different experience. The city of Lucknow does not have many glittering malls and multiplexes, yet shopping in those little markets for knick-knacks and souvenirs has its own different charm.
Any kind of personal expenses, shopping, food etc.
